'...this isn't just another DAB radio: it has other hi-tech functions up its sleeve...as well as DAB and FM, the AirStream10 also offers internet radio....15,000 radio stations are on tap instantly...the heavy duty aluminium casing means it's got a big sound.'

'Ladies and gentlemen meet the Monitor Audio AirStream10, the most novel way to nab tunes from your hard drive and ipod while serving up DAB and FM radio to boot. Can it live up to the hype?...its design might look like it belongs in an East London art gallery...but this is truely a piece of cutting edge kit...we'd be more than happy if the Monitor Audio AirStream10 dealt with internet radio with a dash of DAB thrown in. But it can also pull tracks from any hard drive, using UPnP streaming to serve up the tracks you want without having to feed it an ipod or CD...the internet radio easily snatches Listen again programmes...the speaker isn't a slacker either...it chucks out ample noise. Perfect for sticking in your office and bedroom...the AirStream10 is one of the hottest gadgets we've seen all year!'

'The DAB radio proved better at picking up a strong signal than our portable Roberts receiver and the FM and internet radio functions worked well...there is only one speaker but this sounded excellent at high volumes...the AirStream's design is far from the plastic box you might expect from this kind of product...impressively made.'

 T3.com - July 2009

'Monitor Audio has created a classic...with its handsome real wood veneer - something MA's speakers are famous for - and heavy metal construction...it's definitely at the cutting edge of internet radio tech...the suprisingly expansive single speaker manages to fill the room with a full and snappy sound that plastic portables can't quite manage...it can rock out at almost full volume without distorting...this web radio is a little simpler than the hi-tech Evoke Flow...this slick web, DAB and FM wireless presents a whole lot of functionality in a singularly stylish way...a modern classic design perhaps? We think so.'
